Fast lookups, permanent storage
IPLumo stores complete worldwide IPv4 and IPv6 range datasets and retains results obtained for individual IPs. Data is not deleted or withheld because of age: the last valid record remains available while updates are pending.
IPv4 and IPv6
We work with address ranges from networks around the world. This does not mean every IP has a record: reserved addresses, distributed networks and operator changes can prevent an accurate response. Location is approximate and does not identify a person or their home.
Regular updates
Range databases are checked weekly and replaced with validated complete editions. All stored IP records refresh progressively in batches, targeting seven days by default, even without recent lookups. Quotas, queue size and edition publication can delay refreshes; weekly checks do not guarantee a new edition every week.
Clear results
Unavailable fields are null, never a confirmation that something is false. Proxy, hosting and mobile indicators are estimates. fetchedAt records retrieval time and dataUpdatedAt the local edition when known; neither guarantees when a network physically changed.
